01The grooms

A calm, unhurried menu — priced for your dog, not a chart.

Every dog is a little different, so grooms are priced by size, coat and condition. Tell us about your pup on the phone and you'll get a straight quote in a minute.

Quick stops & add-ons

  • Nail Trim — A quick, careful nail trim to keep paws healthy and comfortable — great as a stand-alone stop between grooms.
  • De-Shedding Treatment — A deep bath and brush-out that loosens and removes the undercoat to cut down on shedding around the house.
  • Ear Cleaning — Gentle cleaning to help keep ears fresh and reduce buildup, especially helpful for floppy-eared and doodle coats.

Not sure which groom your dog needs? That's what the call is for — dial (720) 850-9300 and we'll sort it together.

02The salon

Grooming that's calm for the dog, not just tidy for you.

The Prancing Puppy grew out of a simple belief: a groom should feel safe and low-stress for the dog. Owner Phadra works with one dog at a time, taking things at the pace each pup needs — which is why so many families have stayed for years, some driving in from well beyond Littleton just to keep coming back.

Anxious dogs, seniors and first-time puppies are especially welcome. The goal is a calm visit and a happy, glamorous coat at the end of it.

No crowd. No rush. Just your dog, on the table, in good hands.

03How it feels

A calm dog is an easy dog to groom.

Most grooming stress isn't about the haircut — it's the rush, the noise and the crates. Slowing down changes everything. Here's how we keep a visit gentle:

A content dog resting quietly, being gently reassured during grooming.
  • Gentle, one-on-one handling

One dog on the table at a time — never a rushed line of crates waiting their turn.

  • We go at your dog's pace

Nervous, senior and first-time pups get the extra minutes they need to feel safe.

  • First grooms made positive

A puppy's first visit is kept short and upbeat, so grooming starts life as a good thing.

Not sure how your pup will do? Tell us about them — no pressure, just a plan.

04Reviews

Loved by Littleton dog people.

Phadra is the absolute best groomer I've ever worked with. I've been taking my goldendoodle to her regularly for 5 years, and we even travel all the way up from Castle Rock just to have her groomed! She is professional, great with communication, very cost friendly, and so gentle and sweet to my dog. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Questions, answered.

What days and hours are you open?

We're open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We're closed Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Appointments fill up, so calling ahead is best.

How do I book an appointment?

Booking is by phone — just call us at (720) 850-9300 and we'll help you find a time that works. New dogs and new puppies are always welcome.

Do you groom doodles and other high-maintenance coats?

Yes. Doodle and specialty cuts are one of our favorite things to do, and they're a big part of what our regular clients come in for. These coats take extra time, and we're happy to give them the attention they need.

My dog is anxious, a senior, or new to grooming. Is that okay?

Absolutely — that's exactly who we love caring for. We work at a calm, patient pace so nervous dogs, seniors, and first-time puppies feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

Where are you located?

We're on West Littleton Boulevard at 1220 W Littleton Blvd in Littleton, CO 80120, and we welcome dogs from Littleton and the surrounding Front Range.

Can you groom my puppy for the first time?

Yes. We offer a gentle first-groom experience designed to build a puppy's confidence — kept short and positive so grooming starts off as a good thing.
